I started building a webpage of biker events in 1998. I wanted to learn web programming and needed a project. I got the idea for it when I kept hearing about these great rides a week or two after the ride was over. In 2001, while working on another project with my friend Dorin, the site got a name and a web address: HogBarn. Since then I've worked on enhancing the site, keeping it simple and focused on its core purpose which is simply to be a local/regional resource of biker events and general riding info. Since I live around Sioux Falls, you'll find that most of the listed events are from that area, but I also try to list events from surrounding communities and states as I'm made aware of them. Thanks for exploring this website. I hope you find it's helpful and fulfills its purpose. See ya on the road.
